These bands would like to thank Green Day.......

 Before Rivers Cuomo, from Weezer, actually knew how to write a song he studied the songwriting techniques of Kurt Cobain and Green Day. Weezer would probably be nowhere without Green Day.
 In the thank you's of Rancid's CD 'Let's Go!', they thank both Billie Joe and Addriene. Billie also wrote the song 'Radio' on that cd.
 Good Charlotte thanks Green Day in their latest release, "The Young and the Hopeless". Benji from Good Charlotte has a small Green Day sticker on his guitar. He told me [Courtney] himself when I met him that he has been a Green Day fan for almost 9 years.
 Sum41 also thanks Green Day in their CD, "All Killer, No Filler".
 Blink-182 thank Green Day on their Enema Of The State album,
 Bad Religion also thank Green Day on their Stranger Than Fiction album.
 On the song 'El Scorcho' (Pinkerton) by Weezer... Green Day is mentioned: "I asked you to go to the Green Day concert....You said you never heard of them."
 On the Sum 41 video for "Still Waiting" a record producer mentions Green Day.
 On Tilt's album "Been Where? Did What" Billie Joe is given a credit with Kevin Army for mixing and recording the song "Worse To Bad."
 On The Donna's cd "Turn 21" they thank Green Day. Green Day is thanked in NoFx's CD Punk in Drublic and the Frenzal Rhomb song 'Jesus' mentions Green Day.
 In the thank yous In Reel Big Fish's Why Do They Rock So Hard? Green Day are thanked.
 MxPx thank Green Day on their "Ever Passing Moment" album
 Unwritten Law thank Green Day on their "Oz Factor" album
 If you watch the latest New Found Glory DVD (the one with the popcorn theme on the front) while interviewing some of the members on the van, there is a Green Day poster in the background.
 Agent 51 thanks Green Day and both Billie Joe and Adrienne Armstrong in their album "The Red And The Black" The Ataris listed Green Day as one of bands that influenced them making their album "Anywhere But Here" along with other bands like Bad Religion, Jawbreaker, and NOFX
 on MTV's Top 25 people under 25, a question is asked about who Good Charlotte's influence was, and Green Day was one of the choices, and they showed a clip of Hitchin' A Ride.

 Bif Naked thanks Green Day on her recent album, "Purge".
 In Simple Plan`s new cd "Still Not Getting Any", they thank Green Day, as well as other punk rock bands.
 In the music video for My Chemical Romance's "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", at the end where they say the thank you's, the thank Green Day first and then a few other bands.
 Billie Joe and Adrienne are thanked on Jesse Malin's "Fine Art of Self Destruction" CD.
